Highschool-4 year letterman at Indian River Highschool in Chesapeake VA. 3 time All District selection. 2 time All Tidewater selection over the 4 year career. Senior year was District MVP, All Tidewater team and MVP of the East/West Allstar game. Senior year stats 7-2 with 1.69 era and 120 strikeouts in 67 innings pitched.
College- Played 4 years at Old Dominion University under coach Tony Guzzo. In 1998 led ODU with 8-2 record. Pitched only shutout that year Vs George Mason in the CAA Tournament fanning 8. Fanned 10 or more in 3 games that season and finished 10Th in the CAA in ERA with a 3.47. Finished Career with a record of 22 wins and 12 loses.
College summer leagues- Played in the North East league 1996. Compiled a 9-1 record and 1.28 era striking out 134 in 74 innings. Starting pitcher for the East side in the Allstar game. 1997- played in the Valley for Winchester Royals- Led the league in saves with 11 in 12 chances. Finished 2-0 with 11 saves 72 strike outs in 32 innings pitched and ERA of .72. 1998- played in the valley league for the Winchester Royals- Second in the league in wins with 9. First in the league in ERA with 1.19. Started on the mound in the All Star Game. 1998- Cape Cod- Played for the Orleans Cardnials for last 4 weeks of the summer. Used as a set up guy. Pitched in 7 games. Era of 3.25 while striking out 15 in 6 1/3 innings.
Professional- Signed with the Cubs in 1999. Played for the Mesa Cubs in the Arizona rookie league. 2000 Played for the Lansing Lugnuts as a set up guy/closer- finished 1-3 with a 2.53 ERA 14 saves while striking out 48 in 57 innings pitched. 2001- played for the Daytona Cubs as the closer. Finished 0-2 with a 4.99 ERA 8 saves while striking out 39 in 39 innings. Finished career in Lincoln Nebraska playing Independent Baseball for the Lincoln Saltdogs in 2001.
Started Splitfinger Baseball in 2017.
